You bring the kids.
We’ll bring the play

(& clean up the mess).

Not just a playgroup – an experience designed for real mums and real toddlers.

A tray with green leaves and sprigs of red flowers, a bowl of water with toy insects and worms, and dirty gardening tools, possibly for children's gardening or craft activity.

What is Prep & Play?

  • 60-min weekly sessions

  • Open-ended & sensory play without the stress

  • Run by qualified ECE teachers (and fellow toddler mums)

  • Community-led, connection-focused.

Colorful rubber bands and blue modeling clay balls scattered around a stainless steel bowl with tongs

Perfect for you if…

  • You’re tired of Googling “toddler activities” at 6am

  • You love the idea of sensory play but hate the clean-up

  • You want your toddler to develop socially and emotionally (without screen time)

  • You want play ideas you can actually do at home

  • You need a village (but haven’t found one yet)

  • My son loved the outdoor stations the most! Every activity was so fun and engaging that I didn’t have to get involved, he just dove in and played. I was blown away by how much learning was happening without him even realising. As a parent, I really appreciated the variety of stations and how the space was set up to support movement and curiosity.

  • I loved watching my son play with the sticky butterflies. I love any of the messy activities because it’s stuff I don’t get a chance to set up at home. As a mum of two, it’s so hard to set up these activities, especially when at home you do one setup and they’re over it within a few minutes. There is a great variety of activities setup that teach amazing skills ready for school!

  • I was looking for a fun, educational playgroup for my pre-kindy child, and Prep & Play completely delivered. The activities are child-led and open-ended, and the smaller group size makes it feel really welcoming. It’s fun for both the kids and the parents!

  • Prep & Play is perfect for giving my child freedom to explore in ways that are hard to do at home, especially with water play and paint! We don’t use daycare, so it’s also a lovely way for him to play with other kids in a warm, friendly space. The educators are amazing, and the activities are always fabulous.
